0006- Me, a hero? A villain? ..

Well, it has been quite some time before I update my blog. Seemingly, today is the day i resume my blog writing, as my writing mood is fully engaged to me today. A 'not so great' day to be said the least, as i have not accomplish a single productive things this morning... ( a pretty bad feeling indeed, why I can't conquer the laziness in me, which by far, get the better of me since... ermmm, i think, maybe this sem? )

No more movie review today, as I have not go to the cinema for quite some time now. Reviewing back on my favorite show, Survivor, many if not all the fans, like me , will agree that the 20th season, " Survivor Heroes vs Villains" is by far the best season ever on-aired till present time .. ( still wonder how on earth Sandra can win twice )

Survivor , to certain extend, is a reflective corner for me to dig deep and think about myself. For me,the everyday situation in our lives constantly tested our mental  and emotional capability. To be clear, we are the one and only one to measure our IQ and EQ everyday. Everyday , there is a new war between our personally desire and our logic and I am even guilty of it, often makes decision based on my mood, but not the right thing that benefits me the most....


To me, there is always two opposite selfs in us- 'The Heroes' and 'The Villains'  Like it or not, these two independent , opposite spectrum of our soul complement each other and make us who we are today. As for myself, I could agree more with it , as hard as I work to become a ' good guy' , I feel that at most of the time, I am acting like a jerk and piss off someone at times...( really, really , really sorry for that those i have offended ...)

Well, The Villain part of me will question myself everyday. Am I really that bad? Am I really that boring?  Am I a coward in dealings with problems in life? These queries will bug me for whole day and  I have only one answer to it- SO BE IT!!!! I am who I am and no one, no even my friends, my family and not even ME, can question my credibility as a person!!! Ya, you can labelled me as a selfish and annoying person , but that's the way it is in life, you gain some, you lose some. I  may be labelled as the ' bad guy' by others , but at least I am not being a fake who pleases everyone but not myself.

When all the negative thought crepes in my mind, I will try my best to reflect on my ' Hero' part for guidance. Martin Luther King once said- A Man is not measure by times he taste the fruit of glory, but the times he rises  against all odds and come out as a victor!!!!. The 'hero' me will said, you may not be a perfect guy but just try your best to be a good guy. You are not pledging confirmation and affirmation from others , but from the gentle, sentimental, humble self within me. As risky  and torturous path you are walking, just keep calm, be persistent and believe in yourself, and you will live the present and future with dignity, pride and soon, all the times of humble experience will be a great learning chapter of your life !! Yeah, tomorrow I will be a better me !!!!!! 

0005- Another first time, POETRY ... ^^

ermm, Adrian is in working mode for three weeks now . How to describe it ya? boring , boring and boring ==

• waiting  for time to go work
• waiting for  customer to come and try my clothes with mere percentage of buying it ><
• waiting for customer to go away so that i can sit down and do my things
• waiting for my colleagues to come to work so that we can gossip to kill the time
• waiting for my colleagues to gather around again so that we have new topic of 'gossiping' 
• waiting for the time to fly away so that i can go home   

ok, i am done with waiting as the it feels like forever before the clock shows 11pm. So i come out with an interesting idea. Why not add another new branch of experience in my blogging life- poetry ^^

Below is my first ever adrainalize poem entitled 'One day'

One day,

I shall mark my footprints around the world,

May it be present or future,

great sunshine or heavy rains,

nothing shall tarnish my aspirations,

my dream to explore the unreachable,

unfolds the mystery of the unknown and

interact with peoples of the unseen.

Seoul shall be my first destination,

as it is the heart of Asia.

A colorful ,vibrant and memorable city, 

with exiting peoples and great buildings of its own.

My next stop shall be the Great BRITAIN,

England to be accurate

and the City of Manchester to be precise, 

Old Tradford is my dream landmark,

Visiting 'theatre of dream' is a must.

Next is the UNITED STATES,

Hollywood shall not be missed,

as I can meet with movie stars,

in the 'capital of entertainment'

I shall be one among millions fans,

in the live reality show such as' American Idol'

and 'America got talents'

where i can 'booos ' Piers Morgans in person.

Australia is the next,

where Melbourne and Perth is  waiting,

I shall witness the majestic scenery ,

of the ' Sydney Opera House'

and harvest for tranquility in it's 

forever famous beach.

The last stop shall be a special one,

holding hands with  my 'special one',

we shall walk  in a city of unknown

and it shall be her own choice ,

leaving behind our sweetest memory,

and everything in it....

  

0004- The Amazing Spider Man Movie Review

Well, it's another great eventful day that pumps up my blogging mood.... ^^. To be honest, I am starting to love blogging and it has became an integral part of my life.

There is no more greater feeling  than watches the top movie on my waiting list- The Amazing Spider Man, sum-more on it's premier casting day. When i scan through the trailer, I know deep down that it will be an completely different edition  from it's previous sequels. With the switching up of hero and heroin , both  Emma Stone Dishes and Andrew Garfield bring forward the young  and glamorous side of the main character with their attractive appearance and personality.   

For those who is wondering the different aspect of this new spidy sensation from it's previous version, I can say that this movie offer a completely reverse plot with different emphasis on Peter Parker's life. To be clear, this movie narrates more on the adolescence of Parker's life with the add on of his life with his father, a genius scientist  who specialize in cross generic field. Parker inherits this traits and become a smart high school student in Science. He utilize his talent in the designing of his spidy suit and also continue his father's research in the field.

Moreover, this movie crates a different personality in Ben Parker. On and on, the audience will be captivated with his great sense of humor and character. His has a sarcastic traits and likes to play around with his nemesis. Plus, he is outgoing and enjoys showing off, especially in front of his girlfriend, Stacy.

On the flip side, there are still similarities between this latest sequel and the previous movies. Ben Parker, Peter's uncle continue to circle around his teenage life and is an influential figure in shaping up his life philosophy. His death also provokes the 'hero self' within Ben Parker and bear his responsibility of being Spider Man. 

 To sum up, this new series proven it's potential as a Marvel hit with refreshing story line and interesting mixed up of new and old characters. More importantly, this movies is more spiritual and defines 'hero' based on inner self and contribution to other's life. If i were to give ratings , I will give this movie a 4.2/5 score ^^.    

A cool, action- packed and refreshing movie indeed.!!!

0003- after EURO 2012....

well, euro 2012 is finally over. What should I say ya?

For me, after days of burning the midnight oil to catch the live coverage, I am glad to say its finally over and I can have a good night sleep without having to mumble about the results and how bad the performance my favorite team  ><'....   ( you all know what I mean , right?)

So, as expected by pundits from all around the world, Spain emerges as champion and writes themselves into the history book by  successive tournament victory in year 2008 and 2012. In addition to the World Cup they win in 2012, this 'golden generation' of gifted and skillful Spanish footballer  overcome all odds against them and become the most successful national team in football history.

Winning 3 major tournament in  4 years, an astounding achievement which no football pundits and fans can imagine in this competitive and 'cut throat' football arena. Why the Spanish can be so great? Why ' La Loha' never fails to produce skillful footballers while the likes of England and France struggle to keep up with their effort? The foremost factor lies in their training academy and their league regulation, which promises the growth of  potential and young football talents. How do they do that?

Simple, give the young players a  chance to play with the senior players, learn from them and sharpen their mastery on the techniques and skills of football. The La Liga has been outstanding in executing this policy and its not long before footballing committee of other nation follow their footsteps. Personally, this is the most primarily and essential measures to enhance the potential of  local talents. Let the youngsters play, let them show of their skills and lead them to the highest level of competitiveness. This is the' golden theory 'of football and no teams can run away from that regardless the formation and techniques they practice in their squad.

Well, for me, although EPL is the best league in the world, I think that it's policy is tarnishing their own national team. On and on, the three lions fail to lift up their potential as football power house by playing poorly and under par in every competition. The reason? Local players especially the youngster don't have an even share of match appearance  because the squad of top teams is occupied by ' star' player from all walks of nationality.

To sum up, Spain and England has the best league in the world but the La Liga has the right policy to bring out the maximum potential of Spanish player while EPL is doing the reverse. Well, Euro is over and fans is anticipating World Cup 2016 in Brazil. Will the Europeans continue to roar or Brazil takes back the driving seat in football ? Until then, fans shall wait 2 years  for another heart- breaking, adrenaline pumping and tremendous footballing event. ^^

Just for fun, here is a summarize of the performances of the top teams in Euro 2012...


England- A popular footballing brand which lacks in quality and possession.
Holland- Poor performance with the ' star player' failing to find their form.
Germany- A great footballing lesson for a team of high potential and great playing style.  
Italy- A surprising performance but a heartbreaking finish.
France- A squad which is still in building process and lacks consistency
Portugal- A squad with great ability but too reliable on key player
Spain- Play their best match at the most appropriate time

0001- refreshing encounter with 'blogging' life ^^

well, finally, after a long struggle and fight with the ' lazy bug' living in my soul, I finally make an important  decision which i hope , may utterly change the course of my life!!! By hook or by crook, me, Adrian Teh, gonna start  my own writing brand today , AT THIS VARY MOMENT!!!. Until i write 1000 blog , i won't retired from my blogging experience. ( * what the hell i gonna write to reach this millstone eh >< )

....hmmm, blogging to me, is a reflective corner, a medium  for me to record all the happenings around me- me personal experience, how i learn from other, my favorite list ... blaa blaa blaa..  

well, for a start, as seen as the blog title, I want to make it as simple as I can. So, there is no other way to do that except from describing  the whole day of  my ' interesting' life in words...

So, today is? oh ya, 27 june 2012, Wednesday.

What i do ya? oh ya, wake up early as usual and continue with my weekday routine- go exercise and breakfast with my 'mami ', help her dry the clothes , and wat ah... continue with facebook and drama , hiak hiak hiak ... 

well, there is still something out of the norm today ba. MEET UP WITH MY FORM 6 BUDDIES and watch the movie ' Abraham Lincoln- Vampire Hunter'  

As mention in its movie title, it denotes the life journey of one of the most influential and popular figure in American history- President Lincoln. To me, Lincoln is regarded as a man who utilize the power of speech. Every bit of his words plants seeds of wisdom in peoples mind. He can bring mankind to the good, the 'eternal freedom' every american hope for. He have the guts and courage to take up impossible mission, that america is free from SLAVERY and every men , regardless of color and ethnicity, is born with EQUALLY RIGHTS.

For me, the quotes in his speeches and the movie trigger my thinking cap to the fullest ! 

-    ' Today is a historical day- the day that government of the people, by the people, for the people , shall not perish from the earth. '

-   ' History prefer novelty than brutality'

    ' History writes about the war but forget about the blood in it'

    ' History writes about a man, but only a shallow part of it '

-    ' The true greatness of a man is not to make good for one, but for the entire man kind'

As a whole, from overall perspective , the movie presents an interesting and unexpected twist by adding the presence of vampire species and their war with man kind. Overall, what can i say is this movie denotes the past of Lincoln and his fight for ' FREEDOM' in an ' out of the box' way. It is certainly a movie worth watching with a 3.8/5 rating in my book.

As for the reflective part, what i learn after the movie is that all great man has his own legacy and he fight to his last breath to achieve it. Lincoln has his legacy of ' FREEDOM ' for all american... and...  although i can't compared myself to president Lincoln, i will try to follow his attitude in life , that is ....

' follow your heart no matter what you do and try hard to fulfill all the promises i make to myself and others before i can proclaim me as a good and noble man '
